Loula's is the second restaurant for Montana friends and restaurateurs Mary Lou Covey and Laura Hansen. They are the Lou and the La that together know what it takes to make a restaurant work. Loula's is located in the historic Masonic Temple in two large sunny rooms filled with Montana art and photography that changes six times a year. Loula's feels infused with a curious mix of old and new. Loula's Cafe is located in the heart of downtown Whitefish.
Loula’s breakfasts include the standard fare as well as popular originals like Lemon Stuffed French Toast with warm raspberry sauce or Eggs Benedict with white truffle oil. For lunch try the Cajun PoBoy Sandwich or Mary Lou’s Salad with apples, grapes, pecans and blue cheese.
Loula’s most unique and special product is their PIE!! Our little bakery makes “from scratch” 3000 – 4000 fruit pies each year. We use fresh or frozen fruits like Flathead cherries and wild huckleberries, no canned stuff! We have been nationally recognized for our great homemade pie in books, magazines and even on National Public Radio.
