    More about this Sporting Event: The routes have been designed by expert athletes and adventurers to push competitors to the limit of their physical and mental ability by testing skill, fitness, teamwork and most importantly, inner resolve. Each quadrathlon features both cycling and running, with the other two stages comprising disciplines synonymous with the local terrain and landscape. IGO is not exclusive to the super-fit: attitude will stand you in better stead than aptitude and those seeking to compete or complete are equally encouraged. Previous competitors range from former members of the special forces to businessmen in their 60s.
